iucode-tool software package provides Intel processor microcode tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iucode-tool
iucode-tool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iucode-tool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iucode-tool *
You will get with iucode-tool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
